Welcome to the newly (courtesy of Play Cricket) revamped Egerton CC (Kent in case you are in Bolton) website.

The 2013 season was a most enjoyable and successful one with numerous highlights. The triennial Cricket Week was a huge hit with good weather, good cricket, excellent food and very well supported. After a break of ten years we again toured the West Country which was also very successfully accomplished as we won all three games in tight situations.

Our Saturday side benefitted hugely from a large player availability, so much so that we were able to put out two teams one weekend, for the first time since 1947. Back then there was not much alternative entertainment to be had. For next year we will be looking to see if we can arrange a few more second team games and we will ask members to try and make themselves available on these particular weekends.

The league team had another comfortable season just finishing outside of the promotion places as they won seven out of their ten games.

Overall the Club had 51 fixtures, winning 32 and losing 17. Eleven hundreds were scored by six different players.

The strength of the Club could be seen at the recent Club Dinner where over 55 were crammed into the George.
